Thanks everyone for playing along and guessing how much sock yarn I have in my stash. There were 62 people who commented, and some of you even guessed the same number! (I had a back-up plan in case there was a tie…but thankfully for me, that didn’t happen, hehe) And what is it about the number 42? Someone clue me in on the joke! 
Anyway, as I was taking out all my sock yarns so that I could photograph them, I realized that I don’t have nearly as much as I was afraid of. I mean, I have a lot…but not even 100 skeins. Just barely over half that!

Ok, folks! Yarn giveaway contest alert! mixedupbeauty.net turns one year old on May 11, 2007! (Everybody now, sing happy birthday to the little domain…go on!) To commemorate it, I’m giving away yarn. Again.
(I feel like I’m always giving away yarn!)Here’s the rule, and I say rule because I think there’s only one, lol. Leave a comment on this post and guess how many sock yarns are in my stash. This includes balls/skeins/hanks/whatever is sock yarn, guess how many I have total and whoever guesses the correct number (or comes the closest) gets to choose one of the yarns in the photo (they’re all sock yarns, naturally)!

ok, I think I’ve got the new theme up and running and all good. I tested it in Firefox, of course, and it’s looking good in Safari, too. IE, however, totally renders it unreadable but that’s probably because I was using a now-defunct IE for Mac version. Anyway, if you encounter any bugs ’round here, do let me know.
