1. Nasty wee beasties, and I hope to never be bitten by one! Unless it imparts me with Spidey powers–those webs could come in handy someday!
2. Probably when I was a child. I tend to avoid puddles now, as I don’t want my handknit socks to get muddy!
3. Wool, preferably merino superwash! I find cotton rough on my hands–I know it’s useful and long-wearing, but even cotton blends just don’t feel nice to work with, in my opinion. Maybe I’ve been spoiled by merino and alpaca and other squishy fibers?
4. Leftover pepperoni and sausage pizza
5. Malabrigo worsted, for sure! It’s so soft and takes dye beautifully. I know it tends to pill, but I’ll take pilly softness over rough cotton, hehe.
6. hmm right now I’d probably buy new curtains for our house, or possibly some picture frames once I start decorating the walls
7. Definitely my two dogs–they’re over at my parents’ house and I miss them exceedingly!

Answers to Manda’s questions! (Sorry, I had to rescue your comment from my spam queue!)
1. I love cheese! At the moment swiss is my favorite, but I also like pepperjack and cheddar.
2. hmm I’ll say a couple nights go–we just started moving into our house and I was so tired, it was late, and I started acting drunk because I was so exhausted! (But I wasn’t drunk, really I wasn’t)
3. “What” at the moment, the “what” being our house–it’s constantly on my mind lately!
4. So far today, I studied and did a load of laundry before work, went to work, went to lunch and finished my homework, and right now I’m still at work!
5. Favorite snack is chocolate. Lots of it, and lots of chocolate-chunky things.
That, and potato chips, spicy ones especially!
6. Knitting: keeper of my sanity since 2002.
7. Right now, I would love to finish getting our house set up (told you it’s always on my mind!), bring my dogs over, and relax with them while I knit.

1. It seems ok so far, except last night we discovered the Mystery of the Disappearing Trash Bags! We put a couple of bags out on the curb since today is pickup day–and last night the bags went missing! Someone is taking our trash?? They were just plastic and cardboard, but still–it’s weird!
2. hmm technically yesterday, but just to pick up a few things for dinner–we still need to stock up the fridge!
3. I like the look of hardwood, but I think I prefer carpet since it just seems cozier.
4. I think I unpacked bedsheets since we needed something to sleep on, and then clothes. But we still don’t have a dresser so we’re living out of boxes/closet at the moment, lol!
5. The blue room! That’s what we’re calling it, since the walls are (surprise) blue and it’s going to be our combination office/exercise room/yarn room, yay!
6. I would say it’s decent–it’s not perfect by any means, but it’s not dumpy either! We just need to get our stuff put away and put in some proper furniture and I think it will look much nicer.
