First, the pattern: super easy, and I like the “try it on as you go” method. But at the same time, I think I prefer patterns with specific stitch counts and schematics. It’s just easier for me when I can see a starting and ending point.
Second, the yarn: SPLITTY. I used my Knit Picks Options and that just made the splitting worse! I endured it but I don’t think I’ll use this yarn again. I love the softness, but with that comes the tendency to pill and it’s already starting.
As far as modifications, I omitted the puffy sleeves and knit the sleeves on dpns rather than flat. (Mods found at Domestic Affair after searching for them on Ravelry and not finding any specific directions.)
Just remembered–I think it’s interesting to see the different shapes of this sweater. For example, mine fits more like this one. It’s roomier and looks more like a sweater, as opposed to this one, which is more snug.
I will take a “live action” photo when I get a chance
Maybe on Wednesday, as I am off work at my day job in order to attend all day training at the library!

It’s really lovely!! The blue is a really nice shade.
Your minisweater looks so neat and fabulous! I love that shade of blue - it tends to look good with almost any other colours. Will you fasten it with a pin or a button?
