I just found out this morning that Orion (my male pup) has worms of some kind. 
My mom told me when I was getting ready for work. She helps me out when I’m at work–feeds him and Autumn in the mornings and evenings, as well as lets them outside during the day. She has seen worms in his stool three times in the past few days (but is just now telling me?)…so I am going to call the vet today and schedule an appointment. He isn’t acting sick, but this is still really upsetting. I just want to get him to the vet and get him better! From what I read online, I think it might be either roundworms or tapeworms, but I don’t know for sure until he sees the vet…and I’m also wondering if Autumn could have them too, since they sleep in the same area and are always around each other outside.
I hope he’ll be ok.

I hope Orion will recover soon and loose those pesky worms!
That sucks. I hope it’s nothing to serious!! (and if you treat one, you may as well treat all of them. If they eat each other’s poop they can pass it along)
It’s upsetting when you know your pet’s got a problem…if the one dog has it, the other one probably does too (Autumn’s a dog, right?). At least, ask your vet about it. If your puppy is acting fine, then this is easy to take care of; the vet will give him a pill or two, and the worms are gone. The ones that are really dangerous, heartworms, you don’t see.

I’m taking him to the vet this afternoon and hopefully all will go ok. I’ll ask about treating Autumn as well.
