maybe it’s a time rip.

ok, I could have SWORN that I looked at the clock a few minutes ago and it said “11:04 AM.” But I just looked at it again, and it only says “10:51 AM.” Have I entered…The Twilight Zone??

That reminds me of this miniseries I watched once, an adaptation of Stephen King’s The Langoliers. This group of people were confused because a bunch of other people around them simultaneously disappeared…and the movie was so creepy and weird, until one dude pipes up and (with a totally straight face) says, “Maybe we went through a TIME RIP.” A what? yeah, the movie wasn’t so scary after that. Anybody else ever see it?

Is that the one where they were on a plane and some people disappeared and some didn’t? I never saw it, but my husband loved it. I thought it sounded a little lame.

it was on the scifi channel this summer, lol. i didn’t think it was too bad, all things considered, although having balki (i can’t remember his real name, lol) be the jerk was a wee bit weird.

ha! I never saw the movie but I did read the book? short story? I agree, kinda started off scary and then got a bit silly. I don’t know if the bouncing balls of doom made it into the film version?

oh yes, the balls are in the movie. With ridiculous razor-sharp teeth, if I recall correctly, rolling around at people…lol!

hehe I’ve heard the term time rip before… it’s definitely quite silly sounding. I’m not a Stephen King fan, really. IT scared the bejeezus out of me as a youngin… I’ve tried to watch and/or read some of his stuff and I just don’t like it!
