I just read on The Daily Chum that there’s a new mystery stole knitalong coming in October, Secret of the Stole. After feeling utterly left out of Mystery Stole 3 because I missed signup and wasn’t even really interested until I saw everyone’s gorgeous stoles in progress, I signed up for SotS. My membership is pending right now. Hopefully they’ll let me in!
I’m usually not into knitalongs. In fact, I’ve never joined one. But not only does the mystery/clues aspect appeal to me, but also the group atmosphere would *hopefully* give me some accountability and get me to actually FINISH the project. I’ve got so many WIPs and no motivation to make them FOs. It’s sad!
Besides, I already have several balls/skeins of laceweight in my stash (I overbought a bunch of JaggerSpun Zephyr when I first bought Victorian Lace Today) so I wouldn’t even have to break my yarn diet to provide the yarn! And anyway, the KAL doesn’t start till October, so I will be off the diet by then…anyway, I ramble! Go sign up, I bet it’s going to be fun! 
I enjoyed the MS3 Kal… it sure is a beautiful design. I fell behind after ripping out for the tenth time, and abandoned ship somewhere about a third of the way through- but while I was keeping up, I really enjoyed the small size of the weekly ‘assignments’, etc. Like you I hoped it would keep me on track. Oh well

yes, I’m really hoping that the community aspect will keep me going! Lace takes me quite a bit of time, but hopefully I’ll be able to keep up with everyone.
