- Appointment with my divorce attorney, who seems to think of me as his adoptive granddaughter. (He is 75 years old. Told me so.)
- Hitchhiking homeless man on the side of the highway who had a REALLY cute doggie with him. (He asked for a ride when I stopped, but I told him I couldn’t give him a ride and gave him some cash instead. I drove by again about an hour later and it looked like he got some food, at least. He was eating and giving the dog some food. awww.) And I got to pet the doggie!
- Second trip to the post office this week. Yesterday was clothing (ching ching: $19 in shipping) and today was books (ching ching: $13, thank you Media Mail for saving me).
- Coffee.
- An actual civil and necessary phone call to the ex/soon-to-be-ex, whoever he is, regarding some final paperwork and financial matters.
- Pawn shop. Apparently when you go to the pawn shop and want to sell something, you say “sell” and not “pawn.” Pawn means you eventually want it back. I did not know this, though the dude at the store informed me that’s what it means, and called me “doll” before I left. okay.
- Good mail day!
- New Lime & Violet episode, which had me laughing in the car and was a MUCH-needed relief to my whopper of an emotional roller coaster today. Thank God for small mercies.

I’ve been reading all your day to day trials & tribulations with going through this divorce. My heart really goes out to you. Been there, done that! Even though you’re extremely busy & this is a very taxing emotionally, you seem to be doing quite well. Hang in there my dear!! This too will pass!
That IS a busy day!! Hang in there, doll!
Hang in there, sweetie!
Thanks, everyone.
A very busy day! But at least you were productive
And the STBE was civil, that is good! Ahh yes, the pawn shop. I still need to pawn my Ring (I still have it, is that weird??)… because I could definitely use the money, even though it’s not worth that much. I haven’t gotten to listen to L&V yet, maybe tonight.
I’ll say it once again: You can do it!!!
I don’t think it’s weird! I guess I’ll have to take mine with me to VA and then figure out what to do with it, since I can’t get much for it here.
And thanks.
