It’s 27 degrees outside and snowing. Snowing! SNOWING!

(That’s my best representation of the snow outside, haha…it’s way too dark and COLD to take real photos. Please accept my crappy asterisk snowflakes.)

As such, all of us get to come in an hour later to work tomorrow morning. Extra sleep! A bit, anyway. Got to scrape the snow off my car. Even though I park under a carport/overhang thing, it’s so windy that the snow has covered my windshield, hood, and windows. It’s crazy! And I’m crossing my fingers that my ice scraper is still either in my backseat/floor area, or in the trunk…doh…

  1. I’m jealous! It has been so warm here lately, it was 63F when I went to bed last night. At 2am! So weird. And it’s 64F right now, and kind of humid! But I think what is hitting out west is on its way here, we are supposed to have a high of 40F on Saturday, I think.

Oh, the things I have used as ice scrapers… (since we don’t usually get much here, I didn’t have one for a long time. actually I didn’t have one until I drove home after a big snowstorm and my dad gave me his, haha) cd covers, credit cards, pretty much anything I could find!

I think your asterisk snowflakes are cute hehe

hehe…:D The first thing I thought of as a substitute scraper was a butter knife…um yeah, that would not be good on the glass! It’s getting late…I need sleep…lol!

  3. haha a butter knife! That made me laugh  Thanks for the snow!

  4. Snow! I am longing for it to start snowing here too. It makes the world so much brighter and gives it the perfect holiday glow. AND you can make snow angels.

  5. I think you sent all the snow my way, we’ve got several inches and it’s still falling. And there’s a layer of ice underneath. I’m glad there’s no where I have to go today or tomorrow..my front door is frozen shut anyway!

My dad is always asking if I have an ice scraper, a flashlight, and a blanket in the car (and if I’m not sure he gives me another one :)) Last year at Christmas, he even gave us all long-handled brushes to use to get snow off the car (cause getting rid of 4 or 5 inches with a little scraper? Not so much fun.)
