The ‘net has been pretty quiet this weekend, at least in bloggyland. Is everyone still reeling from the turkey anesthesia? btw, I did go over to my coworker’s house and we had a nice Thanksgiving meal! 
I’m so glad I went. We watched a movie and I didn’t stay long–I got SO sleepy, even after only a few pieces of turkey. But otherwise, still a nice time. At least I wasn’t alone.
I’ve also finished my first ever knee sock! *happy dance* And in efforts of avoiding the dreaded Second Sock Syndrome, I cast on the second one already and I’m halfway up the foot (doing toe-up again). woo. hoo! I’m hoping to finish this one faster since I know all my counts and increases, etc., and of course I will post a photo once the pair is done.
oh yes, and go here to score yourself some Lime & Violet yarny goodness. I already bought something…ahem…as if I needed more yarn. But that never stopped me before.

I haven’t been online too much, just trying to enjoy my one day off - and working on Christmas stuff. But I just posted!
hehe. I’m glad you had a good Thanksgiving meal. I was pretty sleepy too… too much food and two (small) glasses of wine, I could barely keep my eyes open! Congrats on your sock! That’s awesome, toe-up and everything! 
yikes, that reminds me–I need to start my sister’s scarf for Christmas! I have no idea what pattern I’m going to use, either!
Hmm I’m sure you can find something that will work! Something quick and classic, hehe. I still need to figure out something to make Carly… Usually I am done with her gift well in advance, but not this year!

Unfortunately for me the web hasn’t been quiet enough. With my MIL in town last week, reading everyone’s blogs wasn’t just tricky, but damned near impossible!!
