For the smaller sized needles, I've bought there circs. Recently I did some socks on size 1 with 2 cables. 1 knit picks, 1 addi. I decided the knit picks circs to be superior in that the point is sharper and being a tight knitter, I was able to knit faster with them. I also love the cable...so much more flexible. I rarely knit with 13, 15, or 17, which are available separately. The only thing is that the tips aren't available smaller than size 4, which means that sock knitting (via Magic Loop or two circs) is impossible on these. But for everything else...sweaters, scarves, whatever...these really are perfect! hehe, and that would make it easier for non-knitters to buy them for you! :D The ID tags aren't necessary, but I'd be going crazy trying to remember which sizes were which, so I think they are definitely helpful.
