I know my fingernails are way too long at the moment because all night I’ve been trying to type and I keep hitting that darn caps lock key, so everything LOOKS LIKE THIS, then I have to backspace it all and fix it…arg!
As you can see, my Hedera socks are finito! woohoo! Now, for my next trick…what is my next trick [project]? I would like to make another pair of socks, but which ones? I also thought about purchasing the pattern for Green Gable, but I don’t have any yarn in my stash at the moment that would work as a substitute.
Although! I’m in the process of selling back my textbooks from the spring semester to textbooksnow.com, and I’m going to be getting back $88.50!
Last semester, I think I only got back $38. Major improvement. Maybe I will treat myself to project yarn with that money (as opposed to random, impulse, will-sit-in-my-stash-for-eons yarn buying).
Or maybe I should set aside the cash for something else…it’s not as if I need any more yarn right now!
Or do I?

They look really really great!
Green Gable is really cute! And after all the seaming I had to do on that tiny little sweater, I’m *all* about knitting in the round, haha! I think you could treat yourself… if your next project uses your stash. That sounds good like a good compromise to me!
hehe, I like the sound of that too! Yeah, I’m not a big fan of seaming. Even though my first sweater was knitted in the round, I still didn’t like the process of attaching the sleeves, lol!
Yay for Hedera, you did it!
I am waaaay behind on mine as I had some trouble with the gusset instructions. Since I get constant compliments from my kid I does not matter much. Horrible feeling being in between projects not knowing what to start… but deep inside you what the cure is - NEW YARN! *hehe*
cute socks. they look like chainlink armor (methrel =)) for your feet.
Emma: yours look really pretty in that shade green you chose!
I had a few troubles as well, but if you work through them, it will be worth it!
dv: thanks! I never looked at them that way, but I see it now
