meet my dogs.

You’ve seen them on my Flickr, but you must see my puppies in real time in order to appreciate their goofiness. I present my first video of them…acting…rather strange. (Just to set this up, Autumn is our female who appears to be attempting to assert dominance over Orion, our male.) I know they didn’t actually do anything, but I’m quite paranoid because we had an…ehm…incident with the two of them the first (and only) time she went into heat. Literally days before we had her spayed. So yeah, I’m always paranoid!

  • dogswillbedogs.mov – (28.6 MB; I’m not sure why my .mov files are so large, maybe because I save them with best quality?) I hope I don’t have any technical difficulties like I did with my first video! You not only get to see my puppies, but you also get to hear my commentary. My voice sounds so weird played back. It doesn’t sound that way in my head! :D

Amy, I hope this one plays for you!

(btw, sorry if some previous posts are showing up again in your feed reader; I was editing the HTML, and WordPress is pinging every time I update. )

AWW PUPPPIES! I love Orion’s face at the end, like, ‘Mom, why did she do that? And why are you just standing there with that camera pointed at me?’ hehe

It was cool to hear your voice, Tiffany, I don’t think I ever have! Weird! And you said ya’ll hehe, I feel right at home! :)

TOO CUTE! Love your dogs — I’m so jealous though because you have short-haired dogs & mine are long haired — cleaning up all that hair is a pain in the arse!

By the way, the female “humps” the male to show dominance. She’s telling him that she’s the alpha dog. They remind me of my dogs….what would we do without them?

kc: I know, isn’t his reaction too funny? I felt kind of badly for him, but then again, he bugs her plenty, so it’s even. :D

I’m pretty sure that is the only time I’ve ever recorded my voice and uploaded it! I don’t think I’ve ever heard yours. And you’re right, I did say “y’all,” didn’t I! hehe Just habit, I come from Virginia, you know :D

Kristie: trust me, ours have tons of hair, too! Probably not as bad as long-haired would be, but still.

Yeah, I knew she was trying to show dominance but it usually fails, haha! Plus, we adopted our male first, so technically I guess he is the top dog since he was here before she was. :D
